Hang the Scientists!

Peggy Noonan had a GREAT article in yesterday's Opinion Journal.  In it, she challenges the truthfullness of the Al Gore-dope-smoking-hippie-enviro-Greenpeace-clowns about "global warming" and lays the smackdown on the Chicken Little-sky is falling-vegan-PETA-terrorists that call themselves -- SCIENTISTS!

During the past week's heat wave--it hit 100 degrees in New York City Monday--I got thinking, again, of how sad and frustrating it is that the world's greatest scientists cannot gather, discuss the question of global warming, pore over all the data from every angle, study meteorological patterns and temperature histories, and come to a believable conclusion on these questions:

...

You would think the world's greatest scientists could do this, in good faith and with complete honesty and a rigorous desire to discover the truth. And yet they can't. Because science too, like other great institutions, is poisoned by politics. Scientists have ideologies. They are politicized.

All too many of them could be expected to enter this work not as seekers for truth but agents for a point of view who are eager to use whatever data can be agreed upon to buttress their point of view.

And so, in the end, every report from every group of scientists is treated as a political document.

You are so right, Peggy!  Every scientist is an un-Christian-Bible-mocking-heathen-product-of-liberal-colleges bent on destroying God's Earth!  If God wants us hot, who are we to question His will, much less try to "play God" by changing anything.  God gave us air-conditioners to beat the heat, so there is no need to change the global climate.

Just the other day, George W. Bush (a Great American), vetoed a bill that would have let "scientists" play God with stem cells.  I was proud that that was his first veto.  I thank God for giving us George W. Bush and telling him to snuff out the devil's "scientific research".  He did it many times before and I am so glad he did.

George W. Bush knows science is evil.  Peggy Noonan is right, scientists are traitors!

But I think The People will have a greater claim to blame the scientists, for refusing to be honest, for operating in cliques and holding to ideologies. For failing to be trustworthy.

If we can hang the traitor reporters of the New York Times for aiding the terrorists by telling our secrets, we should hang all the scientists too!

Peace be with you on God's glorious Earth,

An Ingrate from Akron

Here is a story the blog-o-sphere seems to have missed.

http://www.newsnet5.com/akroncanton/9462624/detail.html

Marine Calls War On Terrorism Medal 'Eye Candy'

AKRON, Ohio -- A local Marine who service in Iraq earned several medals for serving his country, but he's giving back one of the medals to the White House as a form of protest.

Sgt. Matthew Bee is a decorated Akron Marine who spent seven months in Hadeetha, serving with the 3rd Battalion 25th Marines Weapons Company based in Brook Park.

Bee received six medals of commendation, but one of them he will give back to President George W. Bush, calling the medal political, NewsChannel5 reported.

The medal is the War on Terrorism service medal, and Bee calls it "eye candy" from Bush.

"So, he took something noble and honorable and made it kind of dirty. And I always thought that medal was the one he pinned on us and said, 'This is my war. This is my stamp in history,'" said Bee.

Bee said he is not anti-war, but rather pro-peace. He plans to travel to Washington, D.C., with a small group of Marines who feel the same way he does. They will all try to return their War on Terrorism medal to Bush personally or to members of Congress.

What an ingrate!  If the little buzzard wants to do a Kerry and throw his medals in a lake, let him.  But he has no right to embara ss our President in this way.  If you ask me, he needs to be taught a lesson, if not how to humbly accept a gift, then how to take orders in a chain of command!

Welcome everyone.

I am so proud to be a part of Townhall.com's new blog-o-sphere.  From time to time, I hope to add to the discussions on why the Right is right and the Left are, well, the less said about them, the better.

There are already a lot of other great blogs out here, so I see my little corner as a place to point out some of the things the big time bloggers are missing.  I have a real life and a real job and a real family, so I may not be able to post everyday, but when I do, I hope to make it worth your while to stop by and sit-a-spell.
